Helapet use state of the art ultrasonic welding, injection moulding and in house testing to produce high quality seals on each device.

Quality is vital when producing filtration devices for specialist manufacturing processes to avoid chemical or particulate contamination. Helapet filters are manufactured using statistical process controls to the highest standards in a controlled clean environment.

Chemical free ultrasonic welding uses acoustic vibrations bonding media and polymers together to produce a hermetic seal avoiding potential bypass. The small weld area allows more of the effective filtration area to be utilised.

Ultrasonic welding produces hermetic seals that have good thermal properties, and can withstand the high temperatures and pressures required for specialist applications. Our techniques will bond semi-crystalline polypropylene to media, resisting chemical interaction between the filter and solutions.

Injection moulding from virgin polypropylene produces filters that are low linting, clean and able to withstand intense heat and pressure. Once the connectors are moulded the over-moulder seals the housing to withstand in excess of 50psi.

These compact disc housings are available in a range of colours, to create a modern look and feel to every application. Colour coding has been adopted to distinguish between upstream and downstream sides of the filter.

We have a range of filters that are bi-directional, providing the same performance in either position, allowing for fast and easy connection.

Customer satisfaction is maintained by producing our filtration devices with in process controls. Full traceability for batches ensures data is available across production and testing.
